Dear Daffodil,

You always manage to do this

With your wry smile
And coy grin
I forget that it was
An empty hug

Long waits
Are a blink of an eye to you
Absences mean nothing too
I'll be with you, also soon

But, dear Daffodil
You Stretch Me To My Limits
