Don't You Leave Me Alone
Cradled in a coffin below the soil and snow,
Or glimmering as cinders shaded a grayish gold,
Were the ones who left, the ones who'll go,
Bursting in a blaze, bleeding into the cold.

The specks of stardust that shine within you,
Will flicker into flecks that blend into the inky blue.

In a world wrought with woe, wrath and worry,
Isn't the lure of a looming end to eternity mercy?
When your sorrow slumbers and you atrophy,
What'll become of those shackled to reality?

The chaos of the cosmos that coils within you,
Will cease to curl as it calms and bids the world adieu.

Blanketed in the earth's embrace as flesh and bone,
Or tumbling as the tides and the tears I withold...
To the ones I love, don't you leave me alone,
Don't you burst into a blaze, don't you bleed into the cold.
