God And My Fear
#WritcoPoemPrompt45
Write a poem been inspired by a project or task be completed – whether it’s crossing something off the never-ending to-do list, or a project you have worked on for a long time.
To cross the sea,
I tried on my own,
As much as possible,
To strengthen my arms,
I pulled myself far,
From the crowd,
From the world,
Sitting in the middle,
Between the God and humans,
My mind is confusing me,
"I made a mistake"
I shouldn't have pulled so far,
I am scared all alone,
In the middle of nowhere,
Will I find God or not?
My heart pumped blood,
Heavy as tsunami,
And hot as lava,
I need to cross the sea,
I need to push myself,
Towards God as close as possible,
I left there noone to care,
I am going there with all arms open,
Calling me, to hug me, to love me,
If not there, atleast widening the distance,
Between myself and my fear,
And reducing the distance between,
God and my heart, Oh dear!
