Rock bottom
When I hit rock bottom,
My life became like autumn,
Everything fell down to destruction,
The pain caused a lot of obstruction,
I thought I could climb my way out of depression,
I lied to myself for years and that gave me so many limitations,
A man tried to help me but I slammed the door in his face! what an oppression,
I wondered what would have been His impression,
I continued walking in my dark lanes, having so many altercations,
I guess I wasn't resistant to the devil's abrasion,
I took the hardest decision of considering a relocation,
"Ready to pop the pill" that was my caption,
I suddenly heard a knock at the front door of my habitation,
To my surprise it was that same man and He gave me an education,
He came back to help me despite the fact that I failed all my qualifications,
I said to Him "I'm sorry, please help me, I give you my life" and that was my confession,
I forgot to tell you that His name is the name above all names and it's Jesus,
And that's the story of my salvation,
when I was at rock bottom.
