The earth's gentle blush
As it fell to the ground.
If only the wind realized
The joy it brought
To the leaves it softly caresses.
If only the moon knew
How the night sky longed
For its soft, tender glow.
If only the stars understood
That their light guides
Lost souls in the dark.
If only the fire knew that
Water surrender in its flames
Was not from weakness,
But from a yearning of touch
Perhaps then you would
See the oceanic depth
Of my love, reaching beyond
The mere lust you desired.
