depths
In depths profound, I tread a lonesome way,
A lost cause, deemed beyond redemption's grace,
The weight of sorrows, like a leaden gray,
Has bound my spirit, silenced every trace.
With every step, I stumble through the night,
A ship adrift on dark and stormy seas,
In search of solace, yet no guiding light,
No whispered hope to set my heart at ease.
But even in this abyss of despair,
A flicker lingers, deep within my core,
A spark of strength, though tattered and threadbare,
That whispers, "rise and strive for something more."
Though lost I feel, in darkness I reside,
Within, a glimmer of hope won't subside.
