Since we were young children
We're told to look ahead...
Do not look behind you
Is something often said...

In the past we must not focus
And our future isn't here...
Should we live in this here moment
Although it's filled with so much fear...

We spin in circles as we surmise
What are we meant to do?
This journey that is for us alone
No one else can live for you...

If you doubt your strength or confidence
Remember all of where you've been...
See all the things which you have survived
Came entirely from within...

For if you look too far ahead
At that which isn't yet written...
You may forget what is today
And miss out on what is fitten...

Today is earned and to be here
Truly, it is a blessing...
It's filled with good and even bad
Some days we're really stressing...

The key to time is never stop
No matter which we must step into...
Visit often and remember
It's all just a temporary view...
