You see me as a trans person,
not a human like you
You see me as a child who is "too young to know"
A confused teenager, who is just going with the flow,
going with the trends,
and who doesn't know what they want.

You see me as a trans person.
But I am so much more.

I am someone's little sibling,
and I am someone's child.
I am someone's best friend,
and I am someone's grandchild.

And to many I'm the stranger, who smiled at them and complimented them in the store.
