My Old Book

The pages of my old book,
Hold my memories of yesterday;
Every smile, every tear,
Every person who came my way;
Had taught me some lessons,
Sometimes good, sometimes bad.
I had collected the memories,
And penned them in my old book;
I had learnt many lessons,
Which made me strong from weak;
Though my book became old now,
Its pages hold my emotions.
Some pages started with joy and happiness,
While some pages started with tears and sadness;
Each and every page of my old book,
Contained some hidden messages;
And these were filled with a lot of memories,
Because it held all the moments of yesterday.
Whenever I open my old book,
I see its pages which make me emotional;
All my feelings are etched on its pages,
With the form of old memories;
So this old book can show,
A mini version of myself to me..
