Heart broken by actions
Carried by the breathing
Of toxic words that melted
Her perspective on life
Draining the color from
Her smile while damaging
Her vision of her future

She looks in the mirror
disgusted as bruises
Consume her identity
Flashing images in her
Mind of chaos stemming
From second party insecurity
Ripping the fabric of her
Humanity suffocating the
Glow of her beautiful soul

She slowly scrapes herself
Off the floor and sweeps
The feathered Pieces of her heart
into a dustpan flushing the soft
Aspects of her personality while
Emitting a new shade of strength
From her eyes exposing a hatred
For the ignorance of mindless games
