He Crowned Me
He wore a crown of thorns,
That I may wear one of Gold,
He let his hands be pierced,
That mine be blessed.
My steps,
so perfect and calculated.
And my soul,
so undeserving.
yet, He Crowned Me!
Guiding my every step,
He is my shield and pillar,
my voice, he filled with power,
and with a melody nature obeys.
I ask just once and He grants,
The Universe dares not hurt me,
For she too can see my crown.
I never asked for a crown,
But I was given one.
