At night I saw a beautiful painting
I checked again and again
my nerves were responding to
my breathes were heavy
it's an old painting of mine
fixed on the wall on the corridor
the Banyan tree with a shadowy trunk.

I recalled an image, old but beautiful
bamboo trees surrounding the muddy
the afternoon with a flavour of night
who resides here? a village lady...
