I'd rather leave a legacy
Than be a Trend that fades
I'm here to excel and surpass the grade
I'd rather feed my intensity, my integrity
To be the man that my parents made
To be a leader that never strays
To be a tree in the wind that simply sways
To be an inspiration that always prays
To be the player that always gets paid
Far from a fool or needing to be saved
I save myself from getting played
I work to leave a legacy beyond my days
God is my provider that leads my way
To him I pray every day
Whenever my soul is in need
He comes to my aid
He is the tree that offers my soul shade
He lifts my spirit when it feels weighed
He lifts me up so I don't get swept away
In a current that could drown my faith
As the human spirit should never get swayed
It must remain pure and untamed
That's not to mean be wreckless or shamed
But instead stand true to HIS ways
He is the answer to the many doubts
that fill my brain
Its a Crazy train kind of sane
Life can be insane, filled with joy and pain
Insane in the membrane, kind of game
One must feel the fire inside
channel its blaze
Authenticity never betrays
Legends last a lifetime beyond their days
I pray I'm remembered for my ways
Who I was during my time here today
The great things I have done
The mountains I've overcome
Faced death a number of times and won
Still standing here today
thanks to HiM alone, my number one
To him I give all my thanks
To him I give my undying devotion
Then to my family for all they have done
Better to leave a legacy than to be a trend
This is where the journey begins again
And again and again and again
Yah we falter sometimes,
but we get back up again
and again and again
That's what legends are made of
As I MooVe, Bend and Spin
Spinning like a top
On the verge of out of control
Living outside the Box
To the Victor goes the spoils
I wield HIS gifts like a blade
With this armor that he has made
HE protects me in all my ways
HE's gotten me through the worst
of my craze
HE'S given me some phenomenal days
HEs the reason I am who I am
HE'S why I am here today
In HIS image is how I will live out my days
