Departure of thoughts

Tick tock goes the clock,
Tick tock, it's time to take stock..
balance my thoughts in a scale
and letting my objectivity prevail
what is it that I keep and what I discard
some embedded deeper like glass shard
digging deeper each day as i ignore
bleeding me daily down to my core
as the accumulated crimson lakes blur my senses
and each passing day lake condenses
getting deeper getting murkier , darker
as I wait praying for its final departure
till then the clock goes tick tock
