Same Difference
Staring at your same old face, its nearly become familiar to me again.
After introduced to your new being,
A new lifestyle, new mistakes.
Old apologies, however, reused profusely.
You proclaim your love to me time and time again,
Yet the words fall empty after stalling.
Hanging in the air how I've only ever dreamed of doing so myself.
Awkwardly, almost saddening.
When, and I ask this as if I were begging,
will you return to me what is mine?
Must I desire something I have an abundance of?
Apparently so.
