Healed Scars
#HealedScars

I carry scars, but time has healed,
The pain once sharp, now softly sealed.
A gentle ache, a quiet place,
Where memories linger, where love finds grace.

For parents gone, whose hands once held
My every fear, where comfort dwelled,
I walk alone but feel them near,
In whispered winds, their voices clear.

Their love remains, though they are gone,
A warmth that fills me, lingering on.
And though the grief may rise and fall,
Their legacy stands, gentle and tall.

And in the world, where kindness fades,
Where loyal hearts can be betrayed,
I bore the weight of truth’s own cost,
In battles won, and battles lost.

Used and worn by hands unkind,
They took my faith, left scars behind.
But even there, where hurt once lay,
I found a strength that chose to stay.

For scars don’t break, they simply mark
The lessons learned, the wounds turned stark.
I rise anew, with love and grace,
A healed scar in a healed place.

To those I’ve lost, to those who’ve harmed,
I send my peace, unbowed, unharmed.
For every scar, a story told,
Of a heart that heals, a spirit bold.
