The Fool's Day
Once in a blue moon
in every five years' time ;
during the elections
they come to us
sometimes in the month of April
and sing the same old rhyme -
Please vote and support..!
With folded hands
they beg for our pardon
and want us to regret
for all their mistakes !
They seem to be sorry
to have taken us for a ride !
And give their assurances,
this time they will abide !
Born on the 29th
of February as I am,
I exist only in the leap year
for them !
Rest of the days they make merry
and don't give me a damn !
Election Day is just another
fool's day -
that is what they think !
Democrazy denizen as I am
and demons as they are !
They think they can fool us
one more time ,
but fooled by us they are !
They are out to mock the set up,
and we are at a constant war.!
So... we are at a constant war !!
