The Awaited Rain
The rain, The long-awaited rain,
Changed everything,
Those who were displeased with God,
They all became calmer,
Those who prayed,
They are all heard,
The power of nature,
No other thing had it for sure,
Sometimes nature is the true healer,
Whatever we invent,
Can never set nature free,
A cool downfall at night,
Will change people's minds,
The next morning there will be happy faces,
And, of course, some sad ones,
Who wished for the sun to warm them,
But all in all, this rain has won hearts,
A long-awaited rain,
Brought on by prayers,
The rain of hope!
So powerful, so necessary, this rain.
