The day we met ,my first day at school,
I thought we'd never be friends, but fate ruled .
You approached me , introduced yourself with a smile ,
And asked if we could be friends ,
and my went extra miles

At break time , we went to buy food to share
But I was to shy to admit I had no money to spare .
You understand, with kindness,
You showed you care ,
And I realized without you I'm friendless and bare
