Every night I went to bed looking at his picture
While listening to his songs
Everyday day his face was the first thing I saw
I couldn’t help but think of our future
It all seemed so perfect in my head
It felt inevitable
The funny thing was he never knew I existed
But that didn't deter me
Cause I felt we were soulmates
Destined for eternity
I dreamed of the day we would meet
Thought of how things will go
Prepared over ten scenarios in my head
All of which ended with us together
It was perfect
We were perfect
But he couldn’t wait
He just wasn't patient
He found someone else
And decided she was the one
Shattered my world without knowing
Broke both my dreams and reality
Introduced me to a heartbreak
I still cry when I see them smiling
I still pray they get a divorce
I still hope things will work out
