Crossroads upon a striving life
An unimaginable terror has befallen with strife
Thought safety to be secure in a home
Only to be awoken, suddenly truly alone

Go forth and embrace a subtle twist of word
Must I react, at life's spunning absurd
Did I cling to a hallow space to feel secure
Was a trap set forth, from those whom sought to lure

Begotten from lighted spirits to tend my wounds
A struggle through my path, I was safer in the womb
Many were sought and called to grace
May I be an instrument God chose, for this I will embrace

What is love?? An emotion not to be measured on scale
Many amongst hurt and many severely frail
Seeking strength as I lay upon my bed
Lying down pondering, these voices in my head

I will seek to find and secure a safe zone
Praying to be embraced and never to be alone
I will seek the light of the most High
A chance please give me, as I believe with great sigh

My heart is lifted and secured its dwelling
Nevertheless," safety"is a word, all the worth yelling
Where safety lies, is within the heart of beholder
Grant safe passage, I dwell with wisdom and now have grown older.

I declare the right to find safe in its place
Sought to seek light, every bit of trace
I stumbled across mazes searching where safe is
Hoping to pass the ultimate quiz, LIFE!
