Submerged Silence
Title : Submerged Silence
I am fully submerged in water,
A world where light bends and dances,
Where echoes of laughter fade to whispers,
And the surface, a distant, mocking veil.
They call to me, their voices reaching,
Like sunbeams piercing through the deep,
"Do you need help?" they ask,
But their words dissolve in liquid silence,
Rippling past me, as I drown in my depth.
Can’t they see this weight,
This heavy cloak of solitude I wear,
Each bubble rising, a fragile thought,
Each breath a battle against the surge
That pulls me further from their grasp?
I cannot speak underwater,
My voice a mere wisp, a thought unformed,
Caught in currents of despair,
Fingers grasping at the fading light,
As shadows swirl around my heart.
In this deep, I find a strange solace,
The cool embrace of anonymity, ...
