Symphony of war
In this era of endless strife and sorrow's plight,
Where homes are shattered, shadows cast in endless night,
Where loved ones vanish, lost in the fray's cruel flight,
War's relentless grip, a global woe takes its bite.

Desperation's dirge, a world in disarray,
Soldiers' silent prayers before the dawn's first ray,
For in the battlefield's heart, they know they might not stay,
As cannons roar like thunder, and life's colors fade to gray.

Children, innocent, bear the scars of conflict's birth,
Tears glisten like dewdrops on the wounded earth,
Amidst the rubble, they search for hope and mirth,
As war's relentless tempest shakes the very core of their hearth.

Helpless, they quiver at each airplane's drone,
Gunshots pierce the silence, like a haunting undertone,
Tanks rumble like beasts of iron, cold as stone,
And missiles flash, leaving trails of fear unknown.

Animals, too, feel the trembling of the earth,
As the cacophony surrounds, a land devoid of mirth,
Innocence and grace lost in the maelstrom's curse,
Their fear profound, their anguish all too terse.

The world, a fractured tapestry, frayed at every seam,
In the wake of this war, a pervasive, haunting dream,
We must seek a path to heal, to mend, to redeem,
For in unity and peace, we'll find the answer to this scream.
