THE POET'S LAMENT by Bhengu SS
THE POET'S LAMENT by Bhengu SS
It's a pity that I'm not a poet,
To weave words that mesmerize, and hearts that adorn.
For if I were, I'd tell you how your eyes enthrall,
A siren's gaze that beckons, and never will fall.
Your voice, a melody, that holds me in its sway,
A gentle breeze, that whispers sweet nothings all day.
But alas, I'm not a poet, to express the heart,
To enchant, to play the lover's part.
It's a pity...
