The sun twinkles the last shade of pink
As the sky kisses the Earth good night
Two lovers, once taught how to blink
And it was dark, yet warm, 'twas a blight
Stars in Heaven ever so peaceful
As if cottons knew not how to swim
Fly, like the wind, like a fool
Hence, destiny would possibly dream
One would say love is a waterfall
Yet one would, but only forgot
What was once said on the wall
'Twas nothing, nothing bigot
And therefore, here I lay this ink
So the mind would, perchance, think
