I was always a quiet person
I even was called a mute
I've been called other names too
But being a mute is starting to
make more sense nowadays
When I started expressing myself
I became the problem
The drama starter
People were always happy
as long as
they could do them
No matter if they hurt me along the way
Did they even notice if I was there?
Did I not have a heart?
Did I not have a say?
Am I just supposed take it all in
and look the other way?
Life was just more simple when I was quiet and wrote everything down
instead of expressing myself to others
leading to meltdowns
from self-absorbed people
selfish and just wanting to have a good time
at the cost of anybody
