#WritcoPoemPrompt37
In the quietest part of the night,
When you hover between dark and light,
Wondering if you can float away on dreams,
Hoping they won't turn into screams
You look up to the sky,
Asking God why can't I just die?
Of course, he doesn't reply
Meanwhile, your mom is covered in tears
'cause she had this awful dream,
Where you left her behind.
She's scared it'll become reality
'cause you'll never unwind.
