LOST IN THE LABYRINTH
Amidst the urban tapestry, I wander,
A stranger in a city of concrete and steel.
The streets coil like ancient serpents,
Their names whispered by the wind.
**Alleyways twist and turn**, secrets hidden
In the graffiti-smeared corners,
Where forgotten dreams cling like ivy,
And footsteps echo through time.

**Neon signs flicker**, cryptic messages
Beckoning me down narrow passages.
Each intersection a crossroads of choices,
A compass spinning wildly in my chest.

**Faces blur**, a mosaic of humanity,
Their eyes like constellations—
Some distant, others burning bright.
I seek solace in their fleeting glances.

**Maps crumple in my pocket**, useless,
As if the city itself conspires against me.
I trace my steps backward, retracing
The labyrinth I unwittingly entered.

**The skyline looms**, both friend and foe,
Its towers scraping the heavens,
Yet grounding me in my insignificance.
I am but a speck in this sprawling canvas.

**Rain falls**, baptismal and cleansing,
Washing away my uncertainty.
Perhaps being lost is not a curse,
But an invitation to discover anew.

And so, I embrace the disorientation,
The thrill of uncharted streets,
For in this city's chaos, I find fragments
Of myself, waiting to be stitched together.

*Lost, yet alive.*-RAI
