The Tin Orchestra of the Roof Cried Louder
In the dark one foggy night,
I looked out and to the otherside
There he was

I saw him standing with a golden crown
Bound to his head, light spewed
A halo in the hazy light
A symphony of rain dares to caress his skin
One look at him could cause you any sin

Dancing under the streetlight, I pray he won't stop
His body sways, a flame, fighting to stay alive in the rain
I wish to join him, but I'm afraid of the downpour
So still, I watch
And still, I wish

One look is all it takes
He's looking back, still wet, but now out of the rain
His damp hand in my hair
Dripping to my glasses
He no longer dances alone

My head falls back, my eyes close
Him and I, finish our dance
Our tango of two
Him and I, we lay
Breathless, but unafraid
Damp, but together
Enjoying our afterglow
