I'm Done
Lived long enough to know how unjust life is
As its every punch pushes me back to the ground,
Lived long enough to feel how it turned me into ashes
As every time I climb my way up, I fall down

Been in strife, but this one's unfathomable
As I learned, fighting against ego is tedious
I can never win, even I sternly censured that life's ploy threw in the rubble
For in this fight, I'm bound to lose

Funny how this humdrum life is still rained on with intricacies
Every time I build my walls of certitude
Someone greater than me will shove uncertainties—
Someone better than me weakens my fortitude

As I grappled immensely, I proved that life hasn't been much of an ally
It'll feed you hope, and you hoped— but ’twas just ephemeral
I'm tired of these battles, I'm tired of the lies
For now, I quit, so no more trials

I'm done,
I'm done.
