A Poem
I haven't written a poem in a while,
was busy drowning in grief,
fighting the waves of karma,
picking myself up, apiece.
I haven't written a poem in a while,
didn't know how to put this in words,
those who give up are saved,
those who don't, suffer.
I didn't write a poem for so long,
couldn't find the right words,
when fighting comes to an end
depends on when you surrender.
I couldn't write a poem
life was getting too tough
I was busy finding a way out
from a journey that was quite rough.
I am writing a poem today,
it's been long that I let the pain out,
letting go is tougher than they say,
but doing it brings the spring out.
