Frequently I take stock of myself
making sure I am myself
I have been through quite a bit
like most people
Can surely agree
Life can be very trying and hard
It's like poker hoping for that special card
The card that puts you in a feeling of bliss
So you can go on and not miss
However, that feeling usually doesn't last very long
Life can be the same way
You can have a plan and do everything right
but that doesn't mean you will win that fight
One can only do what he or she knows
and hopefully the hard work shows
No one is perfect
no one at all
Even our bosses
take frequent falls
Here is the key
I believe one must believe in Preparation cause without it you are in danger of separation
Separation is not a positive word
Think about it the word means an end to some kind of union of sorts
Like a divorce where all you have left is your shorts
But even then we must go straight ahead
If not you can lose your head
Finally, keep your head and your spirits pointed up
This way you can always reach that proverbial cup.
