Eros deceived me and left me blind to love
His arrows never struck my heart they've yet to pierced my being
All of the fancy flight and intense emotion my life is yet to be seeing
I am not one to settle for this ages puppy love though you must contimplate this
I refuse to settle with lukewarm emotions
To be kept in the backburner and play a false game of love
I desire more than just to be a valetine my friend
I want more than butterflies ripping me apart or endless dreams
If I am to be a fool in the art of love
Let it let my heart take flight
Let my soul burn with a passion that never dies
Let a fire of my lover engulf every thought in my mind
Let me love so deeply that i love beyond this life
Let Aphrodite herself ignite the flame
If I love I don't want to be merely a valentine that swipes
I want something beyond today's lame excuse for a heartfelt love
I want one that never dies that time cannot tear apart
One in which this lover and I will truly never part
