My motherland
I weep for her
For all the shackles that hold her people down
From its leaders to its citizens
Politicking everywhere in funerals and churches
Inciting people along the way
Criticizing people's actions yet
no one is arraigned for justice to prevail
But a public display , a public speech they'll be brought to justice
At such a time she's delicate
Trying to hold her balance
She's fragile
But her people will keep her safe from falling
Her citizens have cried out, they've voiced our their opinions
And now we see her leaders trying to maintain the balance
The peace, the stability
For the innocent blood that was shed
Trying to fight for what's right
I weep for her but I see and pray for a brighter future ahead for her...
