Crystalized

Crystalized in time, frozen in my place
Watching as the seconds tick away with grace
I let the moment slip away
Now I'm left with regrets, day by day
But now that I am in you
I feel a warmth, a love so true
More than I am with you
My heart feels like it's split in two
For when you're near, my soul ignites
But when you're gone, my flame dims to a slight
Now that I am all alone
I miss your touch, your voice, your tone
In this crystalized state, I am stuck
Wishing for your presence, wanting just a glimpse, a look
But in the stillness, I can see
That you are a part of me
And though I may be frozen in this place
I know that your love will never erase
For even in my solitude
My heart is filled with gratitude
For the moments we have shared
The memories we've created, the love we've bared
Crystalized in my heart and mind
Forever with you, intertwined
This frozen state may never thaw
But with you, my love, I have it all
For now I see, clearer than before
That you are the one I truly adore
So I'll stay here, frozen in this time
Knowing that you'll always be mine
Crystalized, but never alone
For in my heart, you have a home.
