The night was cold, her eyes burned red
The girl laid weeping in her bed.
His hurtful words overwhelming her head...
Turned the thought of breathing, to a feeling of dread
Her body trembled, like never before...
Demons cackled as they knocked at her door.
Just before she answered them, to let all hope fall...
She whispered for an angel to hear her call...

She shut her eyes tightly, she prayed for a sign
Her eyes then opened up to a being so divine!
The room turned so bright, could hardly see...
Then came these words, spoken eloquently :

My dear lovely child of God... on the darkest of nights you are never alone
I've come to you to share with you my light... and a message from the holy throne.
You keep on breaking your severed heart,
Before it ever has time to heal...
Always seeking something new
to escape the hurt you don't want to feel
You have the strength to fight, tonight!
Cease running away! Resist the urge you have to hide!
Can't you see? It doesn't matter how far you go,
The unresolved troubles travel with you inside...

Now is the time to make it right...
Don't fall victim to the fear...
You must have faith to give you strength
No need to fret, I'm always here...

Believe in the love that lives in your heart
and pray for those who don't yet understand.
Remember to treat each day as a blessing...
A chance for change by the touch of your hand.

Now go forth making dreams come true
Your destiny awaits...
Whisper my name and to your side I will fly...
Until the time you arrive at heavenly gates.

Then just as quickly as the being came, it vanished along with her fears from before
The girl wiped her tears making room for a smile...
for faith was reborn within once more.
