We parted ways, a few short days ago.
It seems as if you'll never come back
And I'll be left all alone.
I wonder, is this you?
This isn't you, not you at all,
I can't keep sitting here
Wondering if you'll call.
I know something's happened,
I can feel it in my soul.
I didn't say it the other day,
I knew you would have to go.
I thought you'd think I was crazy
To tell you of a certain death
And that it just hadn't happened yet.
I knew it in my heart
That you wouldn't be back
The fear and the pain
Are on the attack.
They have taken me over
Consuming my thoughts
Of visions of you and
All that I've lost.
I just wonder, should I call,
No, I can't do that,
By then it will be too late
Tell me nothings happened
Tell me nothings wrong
Tell me that I'll see you again
Please tell me it won't be long.
