What Friends Are For
I said I stopped posting poetry but this is for my friends that still believe in me.
I said I'd give them something special for the likes they've sent throughout the days.
This is for you guys so let's get this thing underway.
First there's Moses.
We don't chat on Facebook or other Social Medias but in person he asks about me and my mental psychosis.
Then there's Jarvis who knows just how to make you laugh.
He's bi and I'll always have his back just not like that.
Can't forget Candace.
The girl's been through a lot.
Been fighting battle after battle
Because she's motivated never to stop.
What about Stacey?
Just because we don't work together anymore doesn't mean we can't still hangout.
She just sends me a text when I get off to stop by the truck stop on 45 headed south.
Misty and Scott.
Misty's like the female version of me and Scott is the best forklift driver I've seen.
I'm happy for them both.
Maybe on your wedding day you might let me make the toast.
Jacob and Joe.
They're like two peas in a pod.
Great people to work around even though they seem strange or odd.
Last but not least, Bobbie.
We may not talk the most but know,
You bring me comfort and joy even though.
