This love and dedication of ours are made to outshine,
For it is not about being the iconic, 'forever' Valentine.
We have tried to find many ways to name this or define,
But all we know is that this was written by the Divine.

Taking God as a witness, we followed His destined sign,
Our souls vowed to honor and cherish the word 'mine'.
We will never uncross our paths to separate or untwine,
Thus, making promises to become each other's lifeline.

A holy bond built with respect to use as our guideline,
Igniting inner passion to flow through our endocrine.
For our faith is here to be safe, to protect, and confine,
Forming a shield from the whispers of the serpentine.
