-small town, small addiction-
In front of cash saver
Smoking refrieds out the cigarette-outter
Choosedly so broke
Like a bad joke in bad taste
Behind skeletal grins and gossamered lungs
en route to Perdition
Whole damned town frowning at our elevated states
The achievements in both selfishness and escape
without rhyme or reason
Numerical nights, wasted,
tallied on garage walls, bathroom stalls and such
Time slipping away through sweaty palms and fevered dreams of grandeur
