I AM A BAT
Look up!
I am what you see;
Flying in between the dying light of the day,
And the arising darkness that's situated in the terrace of the evening sky.
I am the one Whose destiny is aligned with hatred
For my appearance is like that of a hideous glove,
A black glove thrown up into the light of the night sky that never falls back down.
I am the one whose chamber and colony lies in the darkness for eternity,
As the sunlight stops our flight into a brand new tomorrow.
I survive by hiding and living in a hot and somedays cold roof peak.
I am neither a witching black bird,
Nor a monster who sews shadows together,
I am also not just a creature with wings like bits of a black umbrella,
I am the only mammal that posseses the powers of flight,
Yet I am perceived to be ominous by many,
But I am truly just another God's beautiful creation,
I AM A BAT...
