The unwavering spirit
is strong indeed,
with roots that grow for strength
and a plant that grows for heart.

Challenging the normal,
adding the ‘what ifs’.
Not afraid to speak
quiet bits out loud.

Assertive for the good
where everyone is concerned,
building nest eggs,
not relying on just one.

Guarding their own time
with a default answer of ‘no’,
ignoring the opinions
that add no value.

Working to build self
with a solid structure,
knowing their own value
and refusing to discount the worth.

Talking with simple language,
no beating around the bushes.
Taking time to explore
to figure something out.

Doing good through actions,
no sugarcoating nice words.
Learning and growing
through every experience.

With no ceiling in heights,
the unwavering spirit
will continue to grow
to a greater know.
