Daughter of mine:

The one
Ever present
Never failing me
The apple of my eye
All seeing
And Wise beyond her years
A learned mind
And heart of gold
With intuition
Set at her core
Did I create her
Am I responsible
I played my part
That’s for sure
Not always as I should’ve
Weaknesses and insecurities
Chipping away at my heart
My soul left weeping
Sorry for myself
I allowed that
Yet here we are
Alive and kicking
A minor miracle
Some might say
However, did I doubt myself
Pain and suffering
Trouble and strife
Difficulties and abatement
She has dealt with it all
Yet always had love for me
A Love unconditional
No limitations, limitless
Never judgemental
Perfect hell no
I never needed her to be
Kindness in abundance
Support ceaseless
Happiness 100
She is my number one go-to
No waiting for another lifetime
Or an if and a maybe
Always in the here and now
Unequivocally
Her loyalty unquestionable
Always there beside me
Shoulder to shoulder
No right or wrong
Or no man’s land
She is what she is
A gift from the universe
The light of my life
And
Daughter of mine
