Year End Echoes
#YearEndEchoes
As the New Year threatens,
I remember the echoes,
Of the year
That is now, supposed to be past.
I try to hope, to think that
This year I'll cope.
And worry about how
I'm going to manage that.
But this year is New,
I say to myself,
There could be a new horizon,
Maybe a Spring will finally come.
If Spring can beat Winter
In the cycle of life,
And always vice versa,
Like the Sun chases the Moon.
And the beautiful yellow of Summer,
The patches of sun
That glide through the glades,
Shine emerald on the grass blades
And if in the Autumn.
Red, orange, bronze, golden.
Seeds spin down like helicopter wings
And the world continues to turn
Well, if that can happen,
I reflect, as the "Year End Echoes"
Then what will happen next
As the cycle renews,
And the New Year calls.
