In the quiet of twilight, we parted ways,
No longer bound by the chains of yesterday's gaze.
A fleeting moment, a whispered goodbye,
Leaving behind the tears we used to deny.
Before that, we stood under the starlit sky,
Sharing dreams that once made us fly.
Hand in hand, hearts ablaze with love's fire,
Moments cherished, bound by passion's desire.
Further back, in the days of laughter and cheer,
We found solace in each other, without fear.
Together we danced, amidst life's joyful song,
An unbreakable bond, so steady and strong.
Years ago, when we first met eyes,
Sparks ignited, amidst innocent sighs.
A fateful glance, a smile so true,
Two souls entwined, destined to pursue.
But deeper still, beyond the first glance,
Lies the silence of our initial dance.
Unaware of the journey about to unfold,
In the beginning, our story was yet untold.
Now, in the beginning, where it all starts,
Before the memories, before our hearts.
Silent echoes of what was to come,
A tale reversed, as time undone.
And now, as the poem draws to a close,
In reverse order, the story flows.
From endings to beginnings, the path unwinds,
Leaving traces of love in echoing minds.
