I'm trying to forget you



In an attempt to forget you, I threw myself into the daily fire, in an attempt to understand you, I pushed myself into the gulf .

I tried to sew those false vows that you ate by thinking of them as torn clothes, I tried to drink your words like poison thinking of nectar.

I tried to burn all the gifts you gave me by remembering the paper, I tried to shed those memories by remembering them as ashes.
