A Moth To Your Flame
In my velvety abyss, you were my light,
The brightest flame in my eyes,
Yet you were also the cause of every fight,
My very inspiration to all of my cries.

Like a bee, I am addicted to your honey,
A fool to your sweet testament,
However, like a man addicted to whiskey,
Hence, to myself, I became negligent.

I am forever helpless to your warm embrace,
For my demise, you are the one to blame,
The cause to my fall from grace,
Yet I am still drawn to you like a moth to a flame.
