THE DAY AWAITED.
#WritcoPoemChallenge
Harbinger of our doom,
Hurtling through space,
The asteroid is here too soon,
To take my soul.
I wandered around the town,
letting the clouds turn dark,
watching the sky turn brown,
making me run around the track.
I ran to my home,
through the streets of Rome,
rushed by the tribes,
of the local never described.
I don't find my home here,
ITs never anywhere near,
Taken by the wind of heavens,
stronger than any weapons.
I ran back to the street,
like a dog in search of paradise,
running high on my heartbeat,
without thinking twice.
I don't see any gods up above,
neither anyone to feel sorrow,
but, some lost faces in love,
believing there's no tomorrow.
