Calm
It is so beautiful out here
Not a person for miles
Just the trees, water, and wind
And the squirrel with his chattering smile.

No one to tell me what I ought to be doing
A place where my mind is free
The breeze in the trees is a lullaby
The birds seemingly singing just for me.

The cool, green grass underfoot
The warm sun dancing on my skin
Making me feel so welcome
Warming me deep within.

As I walk along the waters edge
In search of wild flowers
I'm humming tunes to myself
I could do this for hours.

How I would love to live in such a place
Where the world is so quiet and still
Where the the crisp, cool fall evenings
Are the only things to bring a chill.
