The Gifter and Captor
Greet me, all you earthlings, with joyous tears,
And angelic beams, both far and near,
For I possess a present, so priceless and pure.
Celebrate me with prayers of praise,
And treasure me always,
For I will have to succumb to my Captor someday.
Feared and abhorred am I in the sight of mortals,
For liberating the souls trapped in flesh,
And laying their troubled minds to eternal rest.
Commemorate me, clad in black,
And mourn not when I come,
To abduct and adore the Gifter.
